Mission Trips

Life For Children Ministry, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity, provides family-based care for children who have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in western Kenya. It is estimated there are 1.1 million children in Kenya who have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS alone

Who
we are

  • Seeking to put God’s love into action, Life for Children Ministry brings hope and Christian values to HIV/ AIDS orphans and their affected relatives and communities.

  • To provide the basic necessities of life: food, clothing, medical care, shelter, education, and spiritual nourishment.

  • We believe that the best environment for an orphan is a stable and loving home. We work diligently to find the closest extended family member who is willing and able to take the child in and be their guardian

Prayer is the foundation of our ministry and the core of our organization. God hears all prayers and are needed for the orphans, family guardians and Life For Children staff. We give thanks to Him that has already done incredible things in Kenya. He has purposely moved to create the many different areas of this ministry and has touched so many lives as a result. So, we ask for a prayer of thanks first, all to the Glory of Jesus Christ our Savior.

Programs

Life For Children Ministry conducts a number of programs designed to support children, extended, families, and villages. These programs not only provide for immediate needs, but provide long-term solutions for human safety and care.

Construction is a key part of caring for those in need. Improving living conditions helps the many that are without

Agriculture

There are a number of initiatives to promote healthy and sustainable agriculture methods

  • Greenhouses are built, planted and harvested

  • Goats and Chickens distributed to help with food supply

  • Services like plowing and corn milling are provided
